Bankside Visitor Guide
Better Bankside are a business improvement district located between
Blackfriars Bridge and London Bridge. They are an independent,
business-owned and led company, which seeks to improve the Bankside
area for commercial activity. They asked us to update the design for the
area’s visitor guide.

Bankside at a glance
Wanting to avoid the usual cluttered aesthetic that you find with
guides of this kind, our solution was based on clarity and ease
of use.

A map of the area was redrawn, removing unnecessary landmarks
and clutter. All venues and businesses featured in the guide were added
to the map as colour coded numbers, and listed in a key. The map
provides an at a glance guide placed at the centre of the document.

Colour coded sections
Further information about locations and venues is listed in colour
coded sections and each one is numbered relating to the map.
The result is a user friendly guide that can be used simply as a way
of finding your way around the Bankside area or as a more in depth
information guide.
